Meal: Dinner

Tales from my travels: After a long, hot, exhausting day hiking around Arches National Park we decided to have dinner at the Sunset Grill. It’s located on a hilltop, overlooking Moab. It also has a wonderful view of the sunset. The building was the home of Charlie Steen, the “Uranium King.” Now it’s a restaurant with great service and exquisite food. They bring you some delicious honey wheat bread, fresh out of the oven with butter. The menu also offers a great variety of food though keep in mind it is relatively pricey. They have some vegetarian options. I ordered the linguini olivia but ordered without the crabmeat or shrimp to make it vegetarian; it just sounded too good! It came with a salad and some roasted veggies; the other entrées come with rice as well. My dad ordered the crab-stuffed salmon, which sounded really good and apparently was. When it came to the desserts, everything sounded spectacular as well. Before sitting down for dinner I was talking with a girl that worked there who said the white chocolate cheesecake was her favorite but the chocolate soufflé was the special for the day and was also good. We decided to go for the soufflé. One word: sweet heaven.
