Sweet Cravings

City: Moab, Utah

Address: 397 N Main St

Meal: Lunch

Tales from my travels: Before heading off towards Canyonlands National Park, we stopped by Sweet Cravings to buy lunch. It was nicely decorated with welcoming staff and with delicious pastries and desserts on display as you came in. The staff also offered you free samples. Like several other places in Moab, Sweet Cravings uses local produce and regional dairy. The breads and desserts are also all baked from scratch. Lunch items include sandwiches, wraps and panini each of which comes with chips, homemade applesauce or coleslaw and the “Crave of the Day.” They also have salads and quiches that come with the “Crave of the Day.” I ordered a veggie wrap (grilled portobello, spinach, tomato, onion, olives and carrots with balsamic glaze). As a side I chose the applesauce, which was, I think, the best one I ever had. This might also be a good place to come have breakfast before setting off on a hike. Desserts include pies, fat cookies, brownies, bars and cakes.
